Here is our salon (living-room) and Dining Room.
This picture is facing the aft, where we just came from... the Office and Captains Quarters, on the port side.
This view is toward the bow Galley/Kitchen on the port side, showing the dinning area. In the middle is three steps down into the Galley.
Still toward the bow only of the starboard side. The black frame on the left side of the picture (next to the refrigerator) is the door to Harold's Shop. I made it look like a French Door with a plant Nursery behind it. Looked better off a Kitchen/Galley. And I believe from this angle you can see the door to my 'new' pantry. You cannot believe the added storage it gave me verses the 'dead space' that was there before.
And in this shot, is the main entrance to our living quarters (you can see 'Gandy' our cat coming in). Up four steps and you are in the helm or ship watch area. Behind it is the full bar we built, with sink, ice maker, trash compactor, and freezer. Then of course, the bar stools are on the other side, with the rest of the deck open as the aft salon. During the rainy season and cold, we can close it all in with canvas and have another entertainment area.
