Hot Shrimp Dip
INGREDIENTS:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cut up
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbells Condensed Cream of Shrimp Soup
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1 round loaf (10 inches) Italian bread
Place cream cheese in 1~-quart microwave-safe casserole. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH 1 minute or until very soft. Beat in soup until smooth.
Stir in onion and horseradish. Cover; microwave on HIGH 4 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirring once during cooking.
Meanwhile, slice off top of bread loaf; hollow out center of bread, leaving 1-inch-thick shell. Cut top and center of bread into cubes for dipping; set aside.
Place bread shell on microwave-safe plate; spoon hot soup mixture into
shell. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH 30 seconds or until bread is just
warm. Serve with bread cubes for dipping. Makes about 2 cups dip.
